On April 11th, we visited the office of Keihan Gardening Co. for the first time as part of our study. We entered the vinyl house in which the employees take care of the roses. Also, the employees at Keihan Gardening Co. gave us some interesting lectures about roses in the way that lay people like us can clearly understand. That was so helpful to get some knowledge of roses.
Then, when we finished all of the programs, Keihan Gardening Co. gave us the young rose plants! How generous they are!!!
(I heard that the young rose plants are not so cheap..... Thank you so much all employees at Keihan Gardening Co.)
And this is the rose we got.
The name of this rose is "For Your Home." Its feature is the form of petals. It blooms from spring until autumn repeatedly.
"For Your Home" is the rose which was dedicated to the famous British designer, Cath Kidston.
We all are taking care of it hard to let it bloom beautifully. Of couse, sometimes we fail in growing it because we are just not good at it. haha
