In December, 1955 , the forerunner of this joint stock company was formed as "Keihan Hirakata Kikaku" in Hirakata park - the symbol of Hirakata City which is located between Osaka and Kyoto on the Keihan line. Over time, the company grew, and it now has over one hundred workers. Today the company works on many public projects, such as the maintenance of the city park - including management and engineering works of Yodogawa park, and also national shipment of young rose to depatment store, the flower shop of the plaza. Keihan Gardening Co. produces the F&G rose. One of Keihan Gardening Co's famous rose expert is Mr. Ken Osanai.

Ken Osanai is a rose expert of Keihan Gardening Co. He taught us charm and feature of roses.
He has won the championship of rose specialist in Japan on the popular TV program called "TV Champion." Now he has expanded his sphere activities to include holding rose seminars, appearing on TV, and writing books. In Keihanen Gardening Co. in Osaka, there is a beautiful garden produced by Ken Osanai.
